Medical Office Assistant Needed

Ability to multi task and being computer savvy is crucial
OSCAR EMR experience is an asset
Greet and register patients on our EMR
Verify health cards, OHIP billing
Answering multi-line telephones, manage voicemail
Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups and procedures
Handle incoming and outgoing faxes, mail and shipments
Fax and follow up on specialist referrals and advise patients of specialist appointments
Obtain patient demographics, carefully file and maintain patient medical records
Order office medical supplies, vaccines, and maintain vaccine fridge temperature log
Review and assist in preparation of medical records for 3rd party requests
Performed all other medical assistant tasks as directed
