Job Description:Currently seeking a Material Handler for an automotive facility in Brampton. The successful candidate has the opportunity be hired on permanently upon review of performance. Responsibilities of the Material Handler:Unload and accurately receive incoming product; includes inspecting forand reporting damage to managementPick and pack orders according to requirementsEnsure accuracy of order fulfillment and transfers (picking, loading, andshipping)Complete production orders accurately and safely in a timely mannerAssist with inventory control management and follow strict processes forthe handling of all incoming and outgoing shipmentsOperating a hi-reach order picker forkliftFeeding the material to the line, putawaysAssist in the plant, general housekeeping, cleaning and generalmaintenancePerforming other tasks as assigned by management Skills and Experience of the Manufacturing Material Handler:Basic computer skills requiredForklift experience, preference given to certified operatorsMust be experienced in operating counter balance and reach.Ability to manoeuvre in tight areasAbility to work independently without constant direct supervisionExtended time on feet; walking distances up to 200 feetManual dexterity and hand to eye coordination for operation of equipmentFrequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)Strong attention-to-detailPunctual and dependableBe able to keep up and excel in a fast pace environmentCSA approved steel toe safety footwear required Compensation & Shift : Afternooon Shift 2pm – 10pm Pay $19 + .50 shift premium $19.50 Ideal candidate must able and flexible for overtime Full benefits once hired on perm.Afternoon shiftMonday-Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm.If you are interested in this position please apply or send your resume to email@example.com
