Job Description:Manager of Sales & Office Administration Role Summary: This role will manage both sales staff and all office activities at the Toronto location to ensure the organization and its facilities have the staff and resources needed to operate smoothly and efficiently. This role will take responsibility as the liaison with HQ and will be expected to promote and drive the performance culture of ONE as established in ONE principle. The role will generate an operational and sales leadership culture that is open, welcomes challenges, responds quickly to issues, and can easily adapt to change. The Manager of S&OA is responsible for being informed about issues in the office beyond his/her functional responsibilities. This role will coordinate cross-functional / administrative issues with guidance and recommendations from each functional responsibility/leadership. Establish an environment whereby other cross-functional management in the office is responsible for keeping the Manager of S&OA apprised of any issues, including personnel issues that could be a concern to the organization. Responsible for developing, managing, and executing the day-to-day sales strategy and activities on a regional scope under the supervision of the Director of Sales in the Region, to ensure profitability and volume growth goals under ONE’s marketing and commercial policy/strategy are achieved. This includes regional commercial performance and accountability for customers as well as staff assigned to this position on a regional scope. This role will coordinate and perform a diverse set of support, sales, and office management tasks. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the office, the position will be responsible for supervising and providing leadership to the assigned region and Sales team under the guidance of the Director of Sales. The Sales Administration/Office Manager will provide direction to the team and be able to identify development areas and opportunities for the staff for career growth and increased performance results. Additional Responsibilities: Support & promote a culture of high performance, encourage and enforce communication of company objectives and Core Values. Identify opportunities for better efficiency, recommend and implement policy or process changes as appropriate. Assist with design, implementation, and maintenance of policies and advise, support, assist, coordinate and collaborate on special projects which are highly complex. Hire, performance manages, oversee schedules and work of staff. Perform and report specific regional budgets, sales plans, and KPI’s under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales in the region. Act as the corporate representative on-site for all judicial, governmental, and law enforcement issues, and have general oversight of all facility issues, office closings, and safety issues. The corporate representative functions will require coordination/review with your immediate management and NA Headquarters, Richmond. Core Required Skills and Competencies: · Proven ability to motivate, guide, mentor, and develop sales force to implement and accomplish business in regional business plans · Ability to oversee the office, maintain budgets, negotiate contracts, supplies, projects · Ability to collaborate effectively across departments · Ability to evaluate data, analyze, and problem solve · Ability to hire and train staff; conduct timely and constructive performance reviews · Organize and oversee schedules and work of staff · Lead and manage the regional sales team with an aim at achieving corporate business/marketing plans and regional business objectives under the guidance of the Director of Sales in the region · Implement and manage business development activities in line with a target account pipeline and achieve regional account portfolio expansion goals outlined by the Director of Sales in the region. · Meet and exceed business plan goals, set by the Director of Sales in the region, relative to the regional specific objectives. · Identify his or her own team’s individual expected account performance, measure, monitor, and hold sales individuals accountable to meet the plan. · Assist Director of Sales in the region in development for sales goals and reports on a regional basis that will be used to quantify and measure sales performance · Adapts to change and prioritizes for high-end results · High level of both verbal and written communication skills · Responsive, dependable and follows through · Strong supervisory and leadership skills · Ability to travel, domestic or international, as requested · Performs other duties as assigned Function Specific Required Skills and Competencies: · Contractor/vendor negotiation skills · Office Administrative experience required · Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, office management, and customer service · Successful persuasion, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with customers and stakeholders both inside and outside · Ability to work in a collaborative, consensual environment with cross-functional department managers for purpose of improving profitability and service levels, driving efficiency · A day to day functional leader with the ability to anticipate challenges, risks and identify opportunities · Highly motivated and ambitious · Strong communication skills, verbal and written. · High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite · Problem-solving skills · Ability to work effectively independently · Facility management of office space and equipment · Ability to facilitate employee activities · Able to communicate changes in provisional employment laws and other regulatory information Required Minimum Years’ Experience: 3+ years of office administration related experience preferred 8+ years of industry experience required 8+ years of Management/Supervisory experience.
