Job: Material Handler | Brampton| $20.43


This is term to a permanent position with one of Canada’s leading manufacturing companies looking for a Material Handler for one of their branches in Brampton.

All duties and responsibilities of the Material Handler position, including but not limited to:
Material Handler | Brampton, ON
Location: West Dr and Clark Blvd
Salary: $20.43/Hour
Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
Continental Shift: 7:00 AM- 7:00 PM (Rotational)
Employment type: Full-Time

Maintain strict adherence and compliance with safety
regulations/rules, safety programs, quality and
HACCP/food safety regulations
Operate, monitor and maintain the operation of
Material Handler strapper, baler etc.
Perform ongoing visual inspections of ware
Un-jam bottles as needed, stand up fallen bottles, and
remove any breakage
Keep work area clean and hazard free (including
conveyors and under machines)
Complete required paperwork
Maintain regular and acceptable attendance
Perform other duties as required
Shift changes may occur as a result of being accepted on
this posting.

The successful applicant(s) will have a high school diploma
or GED.

Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing
Proven commitment to safety protocols and safe work
Demonstrated attention to detail, communication skills
and the ability to follow written instructions
Must be able to read and understand basic English
Proven ability to effectively work as part of a team
Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
Applicant(s) must be physically fit as heavy repetitive
work (up to 50 lbs) is required. This position also
requires lifting, bending and moderate physical
A reliable and regular attendance record is a must
Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and
overtime, as required.

to: Pass a medical examination related to the physical
requirements of the position
Pass a computer, mathematical and aptitude test
