FRILU is a tasting menu restaurant located North of the GTA in Thornhill. Our philosophy is engrained in guests’ satisfaction and absolute trust. We are a 28 seat restaurant with a small group of team members keeping the experience/ambiance personable, comfortable and attentive. Our tasting menus are Japanese-Nordic and changes every season.

Job Summary Responsible for daily prep and service at a professional level To work with haste and urgency at a calm and professional pace Partake in pre-service and post-service meetings Preparation of daily staff meals and coordinate with Sous Chef Must maintain a clean, organized and efficient station daily Help in the daily organization of walk in fridge, freezer and dry goods Must keep up to date on industry information, reviews and general knowledge of food and wine Occasionally serve courses to guests during service Openly communicate with Head Chef and Restaurant Manager on all topics related Food handlers license

Dinner service starting at 5pm Tuesday – Saturday.

Sundays and Mondays off, salary + tip-outs, employee benefits fully paid by employer

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications Enthusiastic about the industry, willing to learn and grow, ability to contribute towards menu development, ideas and testing and with experience in fine-dining establishments. We are looking for someone who is hard working, is team-oriented and has a can-do attitude.
