Full-Time Promotions Assistant (CONTRACT 6 mths to 1 yr)

Pumped Inc. a Marketing Firm based in Markham, ON, has recently made plans to expand its support team. We have an opening for an outgoing, career motivated individual to fill our Promotions Assistant position IMMEDIATELY. This is a full-time contract, clerical position with potential of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities: • Assist the Sales Team in developing and executing marketing strategies for each event • Coordinate event activities including event setup, visual merchandize and inventory control • Process, generate, and track event reports • Coordinate event logistics, timelines and schedules • Schedule staffing and manage event staff roster • Serve as Event Manager when necessary • Serve as an enthusiastic member of the event staff and lead by example The promotional events training program uses a hands on approach that will challenge our team to learn marketing, advertising, sales, event processes and management. Senior management provides a setting that will broaden experiences while promoting self-confidence, accomplishment and maturity. In just a short amount of time, an entry-level candidate will have the opportunity to work with several different clients as well as the management team.

Requirements: – Must be able to fluently communicate in English (French is an asset) – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results while managing multiple projects – Level headed problem solver with a professional service oriented attitude – Superb organizational and tracking skills with great attention to detail – Ability to work at least 40 hours/ week – Ability to travel locally to events – Aggressive desire to learn – Must be able to have FUN
