Job Description:Our client, a local award-winning automotive manufacturer in Woodstock ON is currently seeking to add a Sales Coordinator to their team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all commercial issues, including quoting all new and existing business to the customer while updating and maintaining existing contracts. Additionally, you will ensure all expectations and deadlines are met while providing the highest level of customer service. Duties & Responsibilities ▪Assemble quotes for new business ensuring accuracy and feasibility by studying drawings with engineering software (Brava/Catia), and gathering required information from other departments (purchasing, engineering, etc.) ▪Work with the engineering department on all engineering changes to understand and quote, using both Excel and specified customer portal ▪Submit quotes using specified customer portal ▪Update and maintain RFQ summary, following up with buyers until RFQ summary is completed ▪Maintain constant communication with the customers and prospects to maintain positive relationships and assist with gaining new business ▪Ensure accurate invoicing of parts, tools, and all program changes ▪Actively upload production contracts from customer portal, ensuring accuracy, and summarize in an excel spreadsheet ▪Updating and maintaining task list daily using time management tools ▪Maintain constant communication with all company divisions, so they have a clear understanding of customer’s expectations, deadlines and customer’s activities through the use of file sharing tools Skills, Experience and Requirements: 2+ years relevant sales experience in a production type setting preferred, but not mandatorySuccessful completion of a 2+ year post-secondary program; relevant courses include business admin or mechanical design/ engineering preferredMinimum 1 year cost/ estimating experienceExperience with creating quotes and invoicingStellar interpersonal and customer service skills and abilitiesExceptional attention to detailGeneral knowledge of the automotive industry preferredExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize, organize and meet deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point required, experience with WebX beneficial This direct hire opportunity offers a competitive salary package complete with excellent health benefits, motivating company culture, close proximity to the 401 for commuters, and various other perks.
