Position Summary and Job Magnitude

The Groundskeeper role is an integral part of the community functioning and flourishing at its best. They will be responsible for the upkeep of the exteriors and interiors of the property and to ensure they are kept in pristine condition.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties

Attend to any work orders provided to you by the Maintenance Supervisor or Office staff in proper and efficient time. Reporting back when they are completed
Assess interior and exterior of properties and buildings to see if there are any issues needing to be addressed
Assist with any room needing to be turned over
Removing snow from all sidewalks and parking lots as required including holidays and weekends, with the use of snow blowers and Bob Cat machinery
Removal of any trash noticed throughout the community
Sweeping of parking lots and sidewalks/steps
Clearing out window wells of any debris
Grass cutting and weed pulling
Trimming any hedges or trees
Assist with any quarterly or monthly inspections
Attend any staff meetings required

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills/Abilities: Must possess effective oral and written communication skills

Must possess basic computer skills and internet usage

Must possess ability to understand and adhere to policies and procedures

Must possess basic math skills

Must be able to take direction from supervisors

Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of related experience which includes landscaping and grounds work
