The perfect candidate should have previous dining service experience in a restaurant, but not required. Must have Smart Serve/other restaurant certificates
Must remain clean and presentable at all times with a very polite and service oriented attitude. The ideal candidate should have good written and verbal communication skills, good math skill and speak and understand English.
Curry’s dining servers perform a variety of hospitality services within the restaurant. They take orders from customers, provide them with information regarding food and spicing. deliver orders and ensure that every other aspect of customer services is covered so that customers are converted into patrons.
You will be considered part of the dining experience, You are expected to provide meal recommendations and wine pairing suggestions and also educate customers about ingredients in dishes that are served.
Your job will include, but are not limited to,
Greet customers as they arrive at the restaurant and inquire into their seating preferences
• Gauge customers’ seating needs (by counting number of people in a party) and lead them to appropriate tables
• Assist customers in seating and provide them with menus
• Provide customers with information on menu items
• Answer questions regarding menu items and ingredients and provide information regarding diet items and specials
• Suggest appropriate wines and other beverages to go along with customers’ meals
• Take orders for dine in and take out, repeat taken orders to ensure accuracy
• Relay orders to the kitchen
• Check prepared orders for accuracy and portion and ensure that they are served in a time efficient manner
• Prepare drinks according to customers’ instructions and serve then in a timely manner
• Take payment in exchange of services rendered and tender any change
• Make sure that tables are cleared, cleaned and bussed properly before the next set of customers arrive

Daily Cleaning
Stocking and inventory
Washing bar dishes, polishing dishes, rolling cutlery
Insure day to day lists are complete
