Fleet Mechanic

The Fleet Mechanic at our facility play a key role in our production and quality success. We are looking for
an individual who can operate with efficiently while maintaining an obsessive focus on safety and
continuous improvement.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
 Work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures
 Service and perform basic maintenance to both trucks and trailers; including welding, tire mounting,
electrical wiring, troubleshooting, etc.
 Service fleet of ADS owned forklifts
 Liaison with external vendors as required
 Support and lead refurbishment of truck and trailers in off season
 Meet and adhere to all Federal, Provincial and MTO specifications by conducting routine inspections
and testing in adherence to compliance guidelines
 Practice continuous improvement and 6S, including facility housekeeping
 Achieve expectations to meet standard production efficiencies and KPI’s
Job Skills: This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
 Self-motivated and the ability to work independently, while maintaining a strong team-oriented
environment
 Mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities
 Dependable
 Thrives in a fast-paced environment, ability to maintain efficiency and pace
 Analytical thinking and problem solving
 Strong communication; reading and writing in English
 Basic Computer knowledge and understanding
Educational Requirements:
 High School Diploma or equivalent
 310T Truck Technician Certification
Preferred Experience:
 AZ License an asset
