We are looking for a nanny with experience and good references for 2 small boys, 4 and almost 2. We are healthcare professionals who work busy hours so flexibility is an asset. Hours will be approximately 40 per week and may vary. Note that we do not work directly with COVID19 patients, and any patient encounters we do have are protected with PPE. We are committed to protecting our family while serving our community.
Along the same line, we will require our nanny to be fully vaccinated against covid-19. Routine vaccines including flu, first aid, vulnerable sector check, and non smoking status also important.
We would like someone whose primary focus is playing with and teaching/nurturing our children, but who would be comfortable keeping things tidy and assisting with dinner prep and groceries. The boys would need to be fed lunch and snacks, put down for naps, and kept out of trouble while keeping their days fun. Creativity is an asset. Our older son will need bus drop off and pickup daily for school, and the younger does daycare twice a week so those days will involve household duties such as shopping and meal planning.
We are not currently interested in live-in or sponsoring someone who is not living locally, due to the restrictions in travel for COVID.
Our previous wonderful nanny has moved out of the city, but we would love to hire someone who would be with us for many years if it’s a mutual fit! We look forward to receiving your resume and references and meeting you!
