Full Job Description
We are looking for someone with a strong technical acumen that has the ability to diagnose and repair laptops, computers include Apple/Mac laptop and Apple Computers. Must have previous experience and the desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must work well with others and be able to multitask. Candidate must be able to speak comfortably with customers as well as customer service is paramount in our store culture.
Diagnose technical issues, repair computer, maintain effective workflow, input data into inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Provides in-shop Apple & PC laptop or desktop computer repair
Applicants are required to have basic knowledge about Laptops.
Candidates should be able to diagnose the problems with devices and properly explain the repair process.
Setup and teardown Macs / PCs / Laptops
Possesses In-depth Mac OSX, Windows systems
Uses specific tools to diagnose issues, make recommendations for repair or replacement or teardown and test any new parts that are installed.
Uses problem-solving and people skills to ensure swift resolutions to technical problems.
Tests, troubleshoots, and diagnoses computer hardware failures.
Replaces and/or repairs faulty components.
Contributes to team effort by taking on additional tasks as needed.
Ability to lift 50 Ibs consistently
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
Knowledge of Apple Products, Technical Acumen, Listening, Customer Service, Flexibility, Problem Solving Skills, Product Knowledge, People Skills, Energy Level, Dependability, General Math Skills, Verbal Communication, High School Diploma Required, Technical School a Plus.
Must have the ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.
