Clinical Psychologist



Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to complete psychoeducational assessments and adult mental health assessments. There is also the opportunity to provide individual therapy to adults, adolescents, and children. You will be responsible for administering standardized psychometric assessments and determining appropriate identifications for IEPs and IPRCs. Clinical Psychologist Duties and ResponsibilitiesInterview and evaluate students to determine the presence of intellectual disorders, learning disorders, or other developmental disordersProvide consultation to school teams based on the results of these assessments in order to develop appropriate educational interventionsDevelop and carry out treatment plans for clients for individual therapy Clinical Psychologist Requirements and QualificationsPh.D. or MA. in clinical or educational psychologyEligibility for registration with the Ontario College of PsychologistFamiliarity with WISC-V, WIAT-III, WAIS-IV, NEPSY-IICompassionate and sensitive to patients’ needs and concernsExcellent communication skillsMust be able to provide a clean criminal record checkCompany Description:Busy private practice in rural Ontario. One hour from London, 2.5 hours from Toronto, 45 minutes from Stratford and Blyth, both of which provide live theatre experiences. On the shores of beautiful Lake Huron. Contracts with 2 local school boards, consultant to local children’s mental health centre, provide services to several government agencies and provide therapy and psychoeducational assessments to private clients.
