Reporting to the Clinic Manager, the Clinical Aide is responsible for supporting the physicians in providing high quality and efficient patient care. Job Responsibilities:Liaises and communicates with physicians and allied health professionalsFollows all Company Policies and ProceduresProvides support to the physicians in the clinical care of patientsProvides appropriate feedback when necessary to help improve patient care and physician efficiencyManages diagnostic test referralsPre-visit vitalsEnsures the availability of patient records and test results for the physicians in a timely mannerGives patients vaccines and other injections at the request of the physiciansManages medication inventoryManages medical supplies inventoryManages patient flowOther duties as assigned Job Qualifications:A medical degree from a school of medicine listed in the World Health Organization directorySuccessful completion of the MCCEE (Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination)Experience with Accuro software is preferredExcellent communication, listening and problem solving skillsExcellent clinical and customer service and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information in compliance with the Health Information Act guidelinesStrong computer skills including ExcelHealthcare Provider First Aid and CPR CertificationAbility to handle confidential information in compliance with the Personal Health Information and Protection Act.
