Asian Eatery is a restaurant specializing in Authentic Northern Chinese Cuisine, offering various dishes such as Roasted Perking Duck, Braised Sea Cucumber with Scallion, Knife Cut Noodle Soup, and some selected Southwest Chinese food.
Now we are expanding our kitchen with traditional Northern Cuisine.
We are currently seeking a full-time permanent head chef to take responsibility for the Northern Cuisine.
Duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Prepare and cook various Northern traditional sauces and foods including meat, poultry, eggs, dairy, fish, vegetables, nuts in accordance with Northern traditional style with excellent cooking ability;
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements, and monitor and order supplies,
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food;
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
Clean kitchen and work area;
Manage kitchen operations.
Education: Chinese and Asian Culinary Skills Certificate
Work experience: Experience chef preferably with a minimum of 5 years experience in Northern Chinese Cuisine.
