Job Description:The London Hunt and Country Club is currently seeking a highly motivated Assistant Food and Beverage Manager with a proven track record in the private club, or similar industry. As a year-round multi-outlet facility with over 1,500 Members, the Club is looking for an adaptive leader that can enrich the membership experience and help build successful teams. Position Summary The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager is jointly responsible for planning and managing the service operations of the Club’s restaurants and outlets. The incumbent will aid in overseeing all food and beverage Team Members to ensure the highest level of service is provided to all Club Members and Guests while meeting/exceeding the Club’s budgetary goals. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will report directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and will be an integral part of the Clubhouse Operations Team. Duties and Responsibilities: · Is responsible for assisting the Food and Beverage Manager in directing the day-to-day operations for all Club outlets and banquet operations. Ensuring, in conjunction with other departments, that all food and beverage outlets are fully operational both in terms of quality, and service standards while meeting/exceeding budget goals. · Provides personalized and exceptional service with a high level of hospitality and professionalism. o Is a leader who embodies the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Club while providing an example for all Team Members to emulate. · Actively seeks to continuously challenge and raise Member/Guest satisfaction levels in all aspects of food and beverage service at the Club. · Responds to Member and Guest trends, needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future experiences. · Works collaboratively to develop and implement ongoing sales and marketing initiatives under the approval of the Food and Beverage Manager of the Club; and together with the Food and Beverage Manager develops and manages the implementation of creative menus, promotions and events to capture increased Member and Guest usage of the club. · Interviews, hires, and leads Service Team Members as well as provides on-going direction, support, and motivation for Team Members to present exemplary service as required by the Club’s standards of service. · Develops, implements, and oversees a rigorous and perpetual training program that reinforces the Club’s standards of service. · Ensures the Team Members in the Food and Beverage Department are aware of and comply with all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and be an excellent communicator. They should have a minimum of 5 years practical experience in the private club, or similar industry, be a graduate of a recognized hotel/resort or food and beverage program with a history of continued professional development.
