Accounting Clerk Job responsibilities and duties: Posting of customer payments by recording cheques and credit card transactions. Posting and reconciliation of Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) Summarizing daily deposits and credit card transactions. Collection calls to customers with past due invoices on the Accounts Receivable listing. Communicate with customer to resolve any disputed invoices. Communication with other departments within our organization Processing of Accounts Payable invoices Processing of vendor cheques, as required. Communication with vendors to resolve any disputed invoices. Setting up contracts in EPR system based on information provided Supply order input and management Service call input and management. Some of these duties would be for coverage of holidays and vacation. Successful candidate should have 3 years of experience. Knowledge of E-automate software, Word, Excel, and Docuware would be helpful. Good communication and telephone skills required. Based on experience starting salary would be mid $30s.
