Key Connections Consulting Inc. (KCC) is a multidisciplinary team of professionals including Behavior Consultants, Counsellors, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists. We are dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth, and adults who have disabilities by helping them reach their full potential. We are currently hiring for a Project I.C.E. Facilitator. An ideal applicant is required to have daytime availability on Monday and Wednesday. We offer competitive wages and benefits packages for eligible employees. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and organized person to join our Project I.C.E team. Duties will include, but not be limited to, building rapport with program participants, facilitating the program through task evaluations and modules, reporting client progress, supporting participants with resume and interview skills, coordinating guest speakers and organizations to provide community opportunities (e.g. tours, work place volunteer opportunities), completing timesheet and tracking time in database by a deadline, and cleaning Project I.C.E. space between groups. Other skills and qualifications include quality management, managing processes, coaching, communication processes and the ability to motivate others. In addition, KCC will offer a strong level of support and training to ensure that candidates will feel successful and confident in this position. Additional requirements include: • Criminal Record Check from Police Services or an RCMP detachment • Child Intervention Check from Southwest Alberta Child and Family Services • Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle • Experience working with at risk youth and/or developmental disabilities is an asset, but not required. • Training in cultural sensitivity and awareness is an asset, but not required. • Supporting Individuals with Valued Attachments (SIVA) training is an asset, but not required. • Up to date First Aide Certificate is an asset, but not required.
