Construction Company Hiring for Site Superintendent

Southwest Design and Construction is looking to hire an experienced site superintendent to join our team. Must have at least 10 years of experience as a site superintendent with strong safety knowledge. Formal safety training will be considered an asset. Must have current standard first aid certificate. Any other training or tickets for fall arrest, aerial platform, WHMIS, H2S, etc. will be considered an asset. Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Must have basic computer skills and be familiar with programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft Project. Must be organized, have good communication skills and have good attention to detail. Responsibilities will include assisting to develop project schedules and monitoring of the schedule, attend project meetings, schedule sub trades to be on site, coordinate all activities on site including safety of all personnel, ensure all safety paper work is completed as required, identify and correct any safety hazards.
