Job Description:Are you a motivated & experienced interior designer with a passion for Kitchen & Bath design ? Then you may be exactly who we need to join our team! An ideal candidate will have experience is designing kitchens, vanities, wall units and other custom woodworking projects, site measures, pricing, preparing working diagrams and selection meetings with customers in our showroom. Applicants should also be proficient in design software, either a kitchen-specific program or computer-aided design tool such as AutoCAD. Familiarity with cabinet making and plumbing is also beneficial. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication and customer service skills, a creative eye, and can meet deadlines. Kitchen Designer Duties and Responsibilities * Valid drivers license * Meet with clients to discuss their kitchen design goals and educate them on our products and services * Draw up plans and mock-ups to show clients * Draft detailed blueprints for the construction team to follow * Oversee the remodeling process * Contact vendors to obtain specific materials and furniture Kitchen Designer Requirements and Qualifications * Experience as a design intern, design assistant, or interior designer an asset * Project management skills * Excellent attention to detail of projects * The ability to read blueprints * A portfolio of past work * Proficiency with AutoCAD or other relevant design software * Some evening and weekend appointments * Deploma in interior design or decorating is an asset * Preferred 1-2 years experience We Provide * Competitive wages based on experience * Year-round work * Benefit package available If you are self-motived and are looking for an opportunity to expand your career in a dynamic and enthusiastic construction environment, you are invited to submit your resume.
