Job Description:A Canadian-owned and operated, multi-branch organization is immediately seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer for their shop in Kitchener. Duties include but are not limited to, setting up and conducting hydrant flow tests with property managers, performing hydraulic calculations on new and existing sprinkler systems, complete as-built drawings, review and confirm all deliverables meet NFPA and local standards, etc. JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS · At least 1 year’s sprinkler and fire alarm design experience that are NFPA approved for both new and existing buildings · Experience with HydraCAD/AutoCAD and hydraulic calculations · Working expertise of 3D modelling design software (e.g. Revit) a strong asset · Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks COMPENSATION: · $40,000.00 – $80,000.00/year+++ · Paid Weekly through Direct Deposit · Comprehensive Benefits Package (Medical, Health, Dental, Vision, LTD/STD, Life Insurance, $500 Health Spending Account) · Ongoing Training · Company sponsored events · Casual Dress · Open Door Policy & Relaxed Atmosphere SHIFT: Days, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Monday – Thursday), 8:00am – 2:30pm (Friday).
