Job Description:Heavy Equipment Mechanic Job Summary Heavytech Services is looking for a hardworking individual to fill the position of a Field service, heavy duty equipment mechanic. 421A,310T,or 425A experience is an asset, but 2nd/3rd year apprentices will also be considered. Heavytech Services repairs all makes and models of equipment. The ideal applicant will be required to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems. A company vehicle will be provided. Most work is located in the Haldimand/Norfolk area. Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:00pm.Overtime is also available. Employee pay will depend on the applicants experience. Heavy Equipment Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance * Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines, aftertreatment systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems etc. * Able to read and understand Schematics * Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs * Complete shop paperwork * Maintain a clean and safe work area Heavy Equipment Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications * High school diploma or GED certificate * Red seal trade certificate (a plus) * 2 to 5 years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repairs * Welding/fabricating experience (a plus) * Manual dexterity * Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Job ID: 40162352
