EXPERIENCED Line/Banquet Cooks FULL TIME and PART TIME available
Private Golf Course in Copetown, Ontario is looking to hire energetic, hardworking and reliable kitchen staff for the upcoming 2019 golf season.
Responsibilities and duties include:
• Stock and maintain food levels for a la carte services • Maintain and follow prep lists for food stations and banquets/functions • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables and other food items using industrial equipment • Assist and ensure all food shipments are properly received and stored • Maintain high standard of cleanliness and sanitation at all times • Assist in all areas of kitchen if required to do so
• 1-3 years experience in professional kitchen (for full time) • Culinary degree is an asset • Exceptional knife skills • Basic understanding of professional cooking • Ability to take direction and work calmly and efficiently under pressure • Ability to lift 30lbs
NOTE: The ideal candidates must have up to date food handlers certificate, transportation to the golf course and be available to work all mornings, evenings, weekends and holiday shifts.
