Tennis Coach – Tennis Edmonton

Tennis Edmonton is looking for a part-time to full-time tennis coach for the 2021 outdoor season. The position starts in June, and ends in August.

Tennis Edmonton’s mission is to promote tennis as an inclusive sport in Edmonton for people of all ages, skills, and backgrounds, and provide the opportunity for everyone to realize their full playing potential.

Applicants must have experience playing and coaching tennis, and be an active TPA certified instructor.

The coach will plan and lead all outreach tennis activities catered to the specific needs of the population and individuals served. They will be responsible for tracking participation and preparing progress reports for outreach partners, and manage volunteer assistants when needed.

Primary duties include giving private and group lessons for adults and juniors within Borden Park in a safe manner, adhering to all COVID-19 guidelines.

Applicants must be between 15-30 years of age, be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or refugees, and are legally entitled to work in Alberta.
