Soban Sushi & Asian taste restaurant offers a traditional and unique fusion of Asian cuisine, specializing in Korean and Japanese flavors. We are finishing up a major restaurant renovating and have an exciting opportunity on our team. We are looking for some professional, determined, passionate, and compatible kitchen Chef and Sushi Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. We look forward to meeting the newest additions to our humble and somewhat quirky group of Food Lovers.

Prepare and cook Japanese dishes or specialty foods, sashimi, sushi, sauces, soup, salads, vegetables, meat, poultry and fish dishes. Create decorative display for special events such as banquets. Create new recipes. Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.

Specific Skills

Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Manage kitchen operations
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
Clean kitchen and work areas
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
