Job Description:My client, a large commercial property management firm, is currently seeking a Senior Building Operator to oversee their Edmonton portfolio consisting of commercial/Industrial buildings that my client owns. The Senior Building Operator in Edmonton requires 5 + years of commercial building operations experience & a minimum of a 5th Class Power Engineering ticket. This role is ideal for a Senior Building Operator who likes to work independently without continuous supervision & someone who is solution oriented & a YES I CAN PERSON. The salary is excellent & depends on experience plus excellent benefits & an opportunity for career advancement & will include a vehicle, a gas card & a 10% BONUS. For immediate consideration, please call Abby Rubin (604) 836 – 2672 & email resume to: abby@abbyrubin.com RESONSIBILITIES: Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical & life safety systems & facilities; Complete tenant service calls such as changing lights, heating/cooling calls etc. in a professional manner; Oversee the appearance & safety of the property; Operate Building Automation & Security computer systems; Troubleshoot technical issues & provide solutions/recommendations; Oversee contractors & ensure they abide by building guidelines; Communicate with Operations Supervisor/Property Management on building & tenant issues; Maintain maintenance & daily logs of equipment; Contact Supers, obtain quotes, order materials/ Supplies Must be able to work in confined spaces (Bending, twisting, crouching, climbing & reaching) Move & lift heavy equipment and supplies QUALIFICATIONS: Valid driver’s license & clean criminal & driving record 5+ years of experience in building operations; Commercial industrial/office/retail environment; Minimum Building Operator ABSA 5th Class Certificate; MS Word & Excel Knowledge of safety protocol & fire codes & WHMIS procedures; Job ID: 22487744
