Job Description:Job Duties Report to and work with the Regional Safety Manager Develop, track, analyze and communicate Safety requirements to the clients they oversee Monitor the company’s compliance with applicable laws and maintain proper documentation to conform to the record-keeping requirements of all legislative bodies Liaise with external agencies, such as OH&S, WCB, ISNetworld, CQN, ComplyWorks, Avetta, ACSA, ESC, AASP and ensure reporting requirements are met and document submittals are up to date. Collaborate with sales personnel and customers to ensure perceptions of Goal Zero’s safety program are favourable Respond to customers or requests for safety-related reports, plans, programs, etc. Coordinate and oversee WCB claims to minimize premium costs and minimize the negative impact on client performance statistics coordinates Maintain SECOR/COR registration, including ensuring the adequacy of records, training, and audit Provide feedback to management relative to plant compliance Develop a formal Health & Safety strategy that promotes a proactive safety culture. Requirements Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety Safety Professional certification 5+ years of safety experience in developing and managing health and safety-related programs in an industrial or manufacturing work environment Solid experience in industrial safety, health protection and regulatory compliance In-depth knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Legislations and Workers Compensation Act Good understanding of WCB claim filing and cost containment strategies Proficiency in MS Office Flexible and adaptive to change Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies Work Conditions Office setting/Home, Monday through Friday, Client work locations Job ID: 41136732
