Jagare Ridge Golf Club is open for the 2021 golf season, and is looking for a chef!
Job Type: Full-time (average of 40 hours per week)
Wage: $18 – $20/hour depending on experience and potential golf privileges
Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
Location: Jagare Ridge Golf Club – 14931 Ellerslie Road SW, Edmonton, AB T6W 1A4
As a well-established golf course in south west Edmonton, we are proud to continue our tradition of offering both public and private members a first-class dining experience within a spectacular setting.
If you have experience working as a line cook together with Food Safe certification, we want to hear from you! We are looking for individuals who are motivated, positive, and work well under pressure during peak dining times to ensure a timely service and quality product is delivered. Experience working in a golf course setting is an asset but not required.
Responsibilities:
 Maintaining a professional work ethic
 Flexibility regarding work hours including long weekends
 Work hours for the Clubhouse are: Wednesday – Thursday 12:30 pm – 7:30 pm, Friday -Saturday 11:30 am -7:30 pm, Sunday 11 am – 7 pm
 Maintaining proper rotation of product in all coolers to minimize wastage/spoilage
 Maintaining and adhering to all occupational standards (i.e. Food Safe, WHMIS, Health and Safety Policies etc.)
 Ability and willingness to accommodate our patrons’ special requests
 Ensure the utmost cleanliness and maintenance of all kitchen work areas at all times
 Consistently adhere to Jagare Ridge Golf Course policies and procedures
 Working as a team-player
 Other related duties as required
