Location: Downtown Central Edmonton (Muttart Conservatory area)
Days: Sunday 9:30am – 11pm
Monday 8:30am – 11pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am – 3pm
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: manual transfers, G-Tube feedings, Personal care (bathing, toileting), meal prepping and feeding assistance, support on outings, Medication administration, housekeeping and laundry, Support on outings (Driving the employer’s vehicle to appointments)
I am 56 and use an electric wheel chair.
Note: The ideal candidate must be efficient with a word board and a voice synthesizer used to communicate. A male about 35 years of age is preferable.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: Must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check, must be a non-Smoker, must be vaccinated against Covid-19, Divers license and Vehicle required, the candidate will be required to wear a mask for the duration of the shift, preference will be given to those that have experience in a similar role with Cerebral Palsy, CPR/First Aide considered an asset.
Rate of Pay: $21.50/ hour
