
2 x Desktop Support specialist needed for our Edmonton Based client.
JOB SUMMARY
Working under general supervision, this job contributes to client success by ensuring desktop systems availability throughout the enterprise.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Follow pre-defined processes to image and configure laptops, including installing software.
-Pack and ship computer equipment to users, including arranging the courier.
-Receive computer equipment returned to the office, including arranging the courier.
-Prepare laptops and related hardware for liquidation/disposal.
-Provide general troubleshooting of technical issues.
-Update service tickets in a timely and detailed manner.
-Communicate progress and escalate for assistance.
-Work with others, both internally and externally, to complete requests and issues in a productive and -courteous manner.
-Protect client data and privacy.
-Performs other duties as assigned, i.e. Incident resolution, office moves, etc.
