Hours/Days: Rotating Schedule:
Week 1: Saturdays and Sundays 8am – 8pm and 1 weekday shift 7am – 6pm (flexible day)
Week 2: Saturdays and Sundays 8am – 8 pm and 2 weekdays shifts 7am – 6pm (flexible days)
Job Description: duties include but are not limited to transfers with a ceiling track lift, all personal care, meal preparation and feeding assistance, bowel routine (suppositories and digital stimulation), catheter care, ROM exercises, medication administration, light housekeeping and laundry.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: must have a recent vulnerable sector check, be a non-smoker and must have at least 1 year of previous caregiving experience. Preference will be given to those candidates that have had experience with quadriplegic clients within the past year as well as previous experience with the using a ceiling track lift and doing a bowel routine. Heath care aide certificate is considered an asset.
Rate of Pay: $17hour
