Kitchen Front of House
The front of house person is a representative of Surmont Lodge and ensures that the guests have a positive experience during their stay at the lodge. They provide support to the employees of the camp, management team and the clients.
This is a live-in position and travel is provided from Fort McMurray to camp
Responsibilities:
Dishwashing
Maintain a spotless dining room at all times, doing dishes, cleaning tables, windows, coolers, all counters, equipment.
Maintaining inventory levels so nothing runs out. Making sure you communicate what you need to the chef.
Empty garbages
Some prep, putting desserts out for dinner service and keeping everything stocked during service
Wrapping of product
Must be willing to assist any other department of the camp when necessary.
Must conduct themselves with professionalism at all times and limit unnecessary chit chat or gossip.
Must be prepared to help with the grocery order when it comes in.
Must be flexible and willing to assist the chef with whatever is needed.

Requirements:
Must be confident, professional and polite to our clients
Must be willing to go that extra mile to help our customers
Must have food safe and whmis
Must be physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs on occasion
