Mortgage and Real Estate Legal Assistant


Job requirements

Languages: English
Education: Completion of secondary school is requried
Exerience: Previous legal field expeirence is requried and more than 3 years experience is a plus
Salary: 29CAD/hour

Specific Job duties
• Organize, prepare and draft general documents and correspondence relating to the conduct of residential conveyancing law practice
• Facilitate communication between client, landlords and lawyers
• Submitting accurate legal documents in a timely manner to all stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all legal procedures and grammatical usage by reviewing all business documents and correspondence
• Creating and customizing home building agreement and perform new home warranty registration
• Maintain and organize all files relating to legal matters including indexing and tracking
• Provide assistance to all employer legal issues and organize meetings with all related stakeholders
• Actively maintain company filing database and confidential information with expertise of legal procedures
• Creating all subcontractor agreements and manage all subcontractors during the whole project
• Manage company information, receive, sort and prioritize transaction documents and manage all business checklists
• Support the employer to review and update office procedures and routines to match new business requirements.
• Prepare RPR (real property reports), land title search and all related management
• Provide legal support to other team members and support office administration
• When needed, provide legal support to the company and employer to prepare court attending or related meetings
• Prepare regular report and assist general office work as required
