Immediate job opening for a full-time BINDERY OPERATOR/SHIPPER RECEIVER at our local Family Owned and Operated Printing Company.

All applicants must be well organized, have high attention to detail, and be able to work in a
fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Full-Time 32 Hours Minimum – 40 Hours /Week
Hourly wage $17-25/hr depending on previous work experience.
Past Print Bindery/Shipping experience preferred but not mandatory

Hours would be 9am – 5pm (Full Time)
Monday – Friday (No weekends)
**Criminal Record Check is required**

Core Responsibilities:
Bindery and machine finishing including foiling, trimming, folding, stitching, drilling, laminating
Handwork including, but not limited to, padding, gluing, packaging, boxing, labeling of the final product
Final trimming of imprint, small format, and digitally imaged projects
Operation and maintenance of punches, foil press, cutters, including knife changes
Examining finished products for defects
Transport live jobs and stock from various departments by cart or by hand
Receive incoming orders from various shipping companies using a Fork-lift
Participate and support in continuous improvement and the development of best practices
within and across departments.

Additional Duties: The above responsibilities do not imply that these are the only duties to
be completed. Any other job-related duties and instructions requested by your Supervisor
or Managers are expected to be performed. We are a small shop and move people to where they are needed and often cross-train in multiple departments.

Skills & Qualifications:
Ideally 2 years past work experience in a Print Shop, but willing to invest in training the right new Team Member
Able to work as a team member cooperatively and independently
Solid computer and math skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage workload under tight deadlines
Ability to move efficiently between different responsibilities during the day
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Help in other departments as required
