HIRING EXPERIENCED BOOK KEEPER / ACCOUNTANT- SOUTH EDMONTON

Bookkeeper / Accountant with Full cycle experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Performs Payroll, CRA and GST computations and returns, including any and all adjustments where necessary
-Performs Accounts PAYABLE/RECEIVABLE general accounting functions,
-Entering and recording routine financial transactions; performing basic mathematical calculations; preparing routine billing sheets receipts and invoices
-Prepares financial reports, bank reconciliations, bank deposits
-Enters General Ledger entries and prepares invoices for payments by ensuring they are approved and accurately allocated.
-Ensures payments and/or collections of accounts are up to date
-Able to interact with the general public in a professional manner
-Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

-Post Secondary Diploma and or equivalent in education and/or experience ( 2 years)
-INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED accounting knowledge required
-CURRENT Experience with Sage Simply Accounting
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Environment (Excel and Word)
-Excellent organizational skills
-Must be detail oriented and have proven ability to multi task and be self motivated

MUST HAVE:

-EXCELLENT WRITTEN and SPOKEN LANGUAGE SKILLS
-ABILITY TO INTERACT PROFESSIONALLY ON THE PHONE AND IN PERSON WITH CUSTOMERS
