Carrington Lighting is a Calgary owned and operated lighting company serving builders, contractors and the general public for over 25 years.
Reporting to the Showroom Manager, the assertive and enthusiastic individual will be responsible for handling all facets of showroom sales. This will include being the first contact for retail sales clients as well providing quotation and generating orders for home builders and contract sales.
The individual should be self motivated and have a positive and professional attitude as well as excellent communication skills. The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate the benefits of our company and products, as well as delivering outstanding customer service to our clients.
-Previous sales or customer service experience
-Good computer knowledge particularly Window based environments
-Ability to manage deadlines and multiple clients
-A flair for design doesn’t hurt
-All facets of customer service
-Understanding and following all company policies regarding orders and quotations.
-Providing support for other members of the sales team.
-Attending product knowledge meetings, and completing ongoing training sessions
-Oral, written and electronic correspondence with customers, suppliers and reps.
-Ensuring cleanliness of the showroom and staff areas.
-Physically move lamps and other items in the showroom
-Completing accurate cash and credit card transactions.
