Job Description
This position is for an experienced Driller who can do locates and guide and direct Ditch Witch Directional Drill. We are looking for individual who also has class 5 driving license. Telecom experience is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Drilling Ditch Witch Horizontal Directional Drill and/or locating
• Daily reporting of activities
• Maintenance and inspections of equipment
• Driver logs and trip inspections.
• Labor as needed.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Experienced candidates with previous drilling
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, confined spaces, isolation.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding atmosphere including, but is not limited to carry, raise, and climb a ladder, carry, lift and handle heavy equipment (manhole covers, cable reels)
• Self-disciplined, physically fit, motivated, and organized
Experience Required:
• 2+ years of experience in HDD drilling
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, ability to adjust to changing work schedule, scope of work requirements, etc.
• The successful candidate will be required to pass a criminal record.
• Must be drug free and able to pass a drug test.
• Valid clean driver’s license with drivers abstract.
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $27.00 to $33.00 /hour
