Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; up-to-date Standard First Aid.
10 years preferred; no less than 5 years experience in industrial/commercial construction.
Ensure schedule is being followed and coordinated.
Ability to supervise 3-5 people.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and plans.
Ability to perform and complete safety reports and site safety meetings.
Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances, and legislation a must.
Commercial and/or industrial construction experience.
A solid understanding of construction and techniques.
Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
Have the ability and willingness to work hands on.
Work as a team with General Manager (GM), engineers, design team, and client to ensure plans and specifications are followed.
Schedule daily tasks for yourself with regards to material, and labour organization.
Able to operate forklift and skid steer; others an asset.
Valid Driver’s License for Alberta
Safety boots and other PPE (we supply a high-vis vest)
